Notes of clinical lectures while Dr. Friedenwald was a student at the University of Maryland. The two pages at the end on "The pulse" are evidently an early draft of his "Theses" which has been preserved at the University of Maryland.

Friedenwald, Aaron, 1836-1902

A son of German immigrant parents, Aaron Friedenwald was born in Baltimore. He studied medicine at the University of Maryland from 1858 to 1860. He continued his education at medical schools in Paris, Vienna, and Berlin from 1860 to 1862. He returned to Baltimore and opened a general practice, specializing in ophthalmology.
